My wife was on her way home from work one night,and saw her running around in a buisy intersection,she tried awhile but couldnt catch her, so she came home and got me to help. we found her running up to a house so we asked the people if she was theirs and they told us a friend of theirs had dropped her off but they didnt want her so she was allowed to run loose in the hopes that she would get hit by a car and they wouldnt have to deal with her.(nice people huh)so we took her with the intetions of finding her real owner or a good home, well we couldnt find her real owner(we tried everything) and we even ran an add in all the area newspapers trying to find her a home,but about all that answered the adds were breaders,we've seen enough unwanted animals put to sleep so the breeders can kiiss my ..anyway we got one call from a really nice couple who sounded pretty good and qwe checked them out pretty well,so we let them take sadie(for abour 3 hours)but my wife kept crying and was so worried that we might have done the wrong thing(ok I admit it, I missed her to)that we called the people up and went to get her back .they were really nice and understood that we had become a little more attached than we realised and nowshe is part of our family. as a note....we are also looking for a young female beagle for the couple who was going to take her,we thought it was the least we could do.
