My Life

My Mommy and Daddy are so excited because I graduated Puppy Pre-School on May 9th. They signed me up because they thought I needed a little training. Cool thing is I met my real brother from when I was born! His Mom and Dad decided he needed a little training also. His name is Charlie and he has another brother named Jay Wooley, who is way cool. I met some new friends, learned how to do a few tricks, and then received a certificate that Mommy is going to frame. My new friends are going to the next class, which is called Obedience Training, so Mommy is thinking about letting me go to that one. It would be cool to see all my friends.

Not much else going on here, except I am chewing everything up and all Mommy can do is shake her head and clean up after me. I have toys to chew on, but they are not the same as a phone book, the water dish (sorry Sooner and Zeus), extension cord, shoes, newspaper, microwave cart, and Mommy and Daddy's socks. I started to chew on this one book, but Mommy freaked out and said it is called a library book and she didn't want to have to replace it. Now she has those put up where I can't get them.

Going to go find something outside to chew up, so I'll catch you all later!

This Person Called Doc

My Mommy has been taking me to this really weird place. She says it is this thing called a "vet's office". She tells me that everything will be okay and I get goodies when I am there, but the strangest thing happens. This man Mommy and Daddy call Doc sticks me with this long pointy thing that kinda hurts. Other than that, it's a cool place to go. I get to get on this thing and some numbers flash and then Mommy starts talking about what a big boy I am. I just look at her like, "Duh".

The first time I went was a couple of weeks ago and I was 15.6 pounds. I just went back last Thursday and I weighed 20.8 pounds. Mommy says that is because I was a little stinker one weekend. Daddy had left Zeus' bag of food in the dining room and I couldn't resist the temptation. I ripped a small hole in the bag and was feasting like a king. The downside is that Mommy had to clean up some nasty messes until she figured out what I was doing. Even though it didn't make my tummy feel good, I was eating like a king.

Well, it's time to go harass Sooner and Zeus before I crawl into bed with Mommy. Until my next adventure, keep on diggin!

Wow! It has been a crazy week and a half. My new Mommy and Daddy picked me up on the 28th of January and I have had a busy time since. Getting to know my new brother and sister has been fun. Sooner lets me nibble on her paws so that keeps me content for a few minutes. I chase Zeus around the house and the backyard because he doesn't want to play with me. Mommy says it is because I nibble, but I'm a puppy. Of course I am going to nibble on anything and everything I can get in my mouth.

On the 3rd of February, Mommy and her friend from work, Carol, took me down to Oklahoma to meet my Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Kenly, Reina, Buddy, and Belle. They thought I was just the cutest little thing and I basked in the attention. I played with Belle, but she kept knocking me down because she is bigger than I am. But here in a couple of months, I'll be her size and then I can push her down. That weekend sure did tire me out!

Tomorrow, Mommy says that I have to go see the doctor. Don't know why because I am not sick. Something about shots. At least I will get to ride in the car again.

I'm glad I found my forever home and my Mommy has helped me make some cool friends on Dogster. I'll check in with everyone later!
