Favorite Toy:
Mr. Elephant and anything that resembles a slipper

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
dog park and anywhere there are bunnies/squirrels

Best Tricks:
I can find which hand a treat is in by smell, then I touch my foot to the treat hand (like this is hard, I'm a sniffer dog!!)

Arrival Story:
I went to the humane society to get a dog, and saw this cute little Jack Russle Terrier. I took him to the "get to know you" room, in which, the dog proceeded to jump three feet in the air repeatedly. He was not the dog for me. So I went back into the kennel area and there was this sad little Beagle face looking out from between the cage bars. I took that doggie outside and proceeded to fall in love with him. He also fit my boyfriend's requirement of not getting a dog he would be embarrassed to walk down the street. Now he's my boyfriend's (Jason) best friend.

Jackdog has a girlfriend named Cleo. She's this tall, graceful greyhound whom he just adores. Jackdog loves Cleo soooo much that he'll let her do anything. She can take his treats, his bed, his toys, his food, etc. and he'll just sit there in puppy love. If any other dog tries this he gets all defensive. He also likes that he can walk underneath her without ducking when she is standing up.

My mom says I get to much fur on the computer so I'm not supposed to be near it. Well, poo. I'll do it anyway!

I'm back and I'm gonna blog. But first, I have to run down the street to my buddy Cleo's house so we can both get stuffed full of biscuits by her person. Cleo's person is a good treat giver and she always seems to know when we're coming. My mom says it's because of my jingly collar, but I'm not sure.

Good-bye Sandy, my good buddy

Last Thursday, my good buddy from down the street lost a quick and severe battle with stomach cancer. Her name was Sandy and she was my best doggie friend.

We would go on walks together, hang out, and get lots of treats. There is a winter picture of her and me together that my mom is going to frame.

We are both very sad because Sandy was a good doggie friend. We miss her.

Sandy's mom already got a new a new doggie Cleo. She's cute, but needs some breaking in time. She used to be an outside doggie so she's going to have to adjust to being a pampered indoor pup.

I survived the puppies!

I had some visitors yesterday... Duke (mini dachshund), Josi (Lhasa Apso), Bernie (CairnTerrier/Jack Russel), Grandma, and Auntie P.

This is the first time the puppies (Duke & Josi) have been to my house. I've been to theirs a lot, but now they returned the favor. They touched all my stuff, chewed on my toys, and even played with my laser pointer.

Bernie is an older dog (though you can see a puppy version of him in my pictures) so he and I can hang and chill, but the puppies are crazy. Duke is a total adventure dog an ended up over the barricade keeping us in the living room while the people were out and about.

We (all 7 of us) attempted to go for a walk...that didn't work out so well. We did end up at the custard store so that was good. However, the doggies only got some ice-water while the people ate the custard.

I do have a stash of pupsicles, but those are only for me when it's hot out like today. They are all tasty and full of peanutbuttery and bananay goodness.
