Arrival Story:
The Strassbergs had recently had to put their long-time pet, Butch (a Maltese), to sleep. Soon after, while just “looking around” at Furburbia (a pet adoption center), they saw a three month-old yellow lab puppy who just stole their hearts at first sight. In addition to looking so adorable, he returned a ball Don threw across the play area the very first time, and every time! Don had always wanted (but never had) a dog who really loved to play catch, so the Strassbergs really had no choice...Bryce came home with them, then and there!

Bio:
Bryce has been a therapy dog, with Intermountain Therapy Animals, for two years. He visits weekly at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City. He is loved by all the patients and staff he visits with. Bryce and his partners, Don & Ronnie Strassberg, were named "New Pet Therapy Team" for 2003. All are very proud.
