We wanted an older dog and Bonnie was advertised as an 3 year old.
We saw her at the breeder, and she immediately made herself very comfortable on my husbands lap. The breeder had no more use of her for breeding as she had 2 littlers both of only 1 pup which did'nt survive. Bonnie was in poor shape, coat very sparse and did'nt appear well. We took her home and found out from our vet, that she had thyroid problems, and was a carrier of VonVillebrands. Within a year getting lots of love, medications, and good diet she looked great and got a little bit of weight. Bio: Her registered name is Kiss Angel, and when we picked her up, her name was Smooch, We changed it to Bonnie, has I wanted a Scottish name for her.
She achieved her Obedience Companion Dog title in her first three trials, and got High in Trial that day. She performed extremely well but unfortunately the stress took a toll on her the next day so she was retired from trialling immediately. I think she did the best she could to let me know that she is very capable but her nerves could'nt handle it. She loves to practice at home with her brothers and can show them a thing or two.
On April 2, 2007, after a great struggle with Kidney disease - we sent our Miss Bon Bon to a peaceful sleep forever. We all miss her so terribly. We will all see you at the Rainbow bridge one day. Gee, what an evening, my human dad has been trying to teach my human mom how to use the computer, all I have been listening too is not that key, and stuff like that. I was under the computer desk, where I love to go when they are working on the computer. It's now 9.oclock at night and I am usually under my mom's chair settling down for the evening. My three brothers are all fast asleep already. So I'll say goodnight with big smooches to all.
