Zoe and Oobi

Doing so much better

Zoe has been to the vet quite few times since i first registered her on dogster. She is doing so much better. She is completely up to date on her shots, has completed her heartworm treatment, has been treated for her lung infection, and tapeworms. She is finally eating on a regular schedule. She loves to eat Merricks canned dog food, and we give her a combination of Merricks puppy food, Nature's Variety Raw Instincts, and Beneful (original). She has gained 7 lbs since we got her. You can still see her ribs but she is getting much better. Oobi and her play together regularly now, she likes to jump around and chew up her bones. She is just a joy to have.

Zoe and Oobi Introductions

We got Oobi first about 6 months ago, through GCFN. It was a blessing because I have always wanted a pug and he is the perfect, most affectionate pug I have ever met. He is pretty lazy too so it was a good fit. Then we got Zoe about 6 days ago. She is the most beautiful neapolitan mastiff that I have ever seen. She was severely malnourished, weighing in at only 95 lbs and she is slowly gaining her weight back. We finally got her up to date on her shots. Monday she goes in for her heartworm treatment. She has severe heartworm. She was not taken care of at all by the person that we adopted her from and we were glad that we could get her and give her the home that she needs. I will post more with her recuperation. Thanks.
