New Place

Mom and Dad got this new place - one story, back yard... It's a great place! They let me outside all the time so I can chew on plants, dig holes, and eat chili peppers. Every once in a while they bring out a large, noisy machine to cut the grass. I don't like it so much, but it's fun to play in the clippings. Then they spray water everywhere, sometimes even on me! I should let them know I don't like that. And I don't like baths, either. Mom and Dad don't like it when I dig and chew, but they aren't here, so they can't really stop me. Haha.

What's That You Say?

Mom said that I'm not going to doggie-day care after next week. She said we're getting our own place with a yard for me to play in. I'm excited, but I'll miss Scottie. She said Scottie could come over to play with me if it was alright with his mommy.

She also said that I was going to the vet for surgery in a couple of weeks. I don't know what surgery or spaying is, but I hope I get new toys and lots of love. Dad said that I wouldn't be happy for two weeks, but dad doesn't know anything. Verts can be that bad. Right?

Doggie Day Care

Mom's decided to take me over to cousin Scottie's house to play during the day while she's busy with work. Scottie and I have the best of time. I stare at him while he's in his doghouse and wait for him to react. When he barks, I get so excited that I need to run around the yard a few times only to do it again and again and again. Mom comes to feed me on her lunch break, and sometimes we eat together. I would rather have what she's eating, but she's not a good sharer. Scottie always tries to eat my food when I'm not looking, so I take my mom's example and don't share too well with him. When it starts to get dark, Mom never fails to pick me up. Sometimes she sends Dad to get me. I really like this kind of life. Scottie's my best friend, and Mom is so good to me!
