Wrestling with his little sister Pink, chewing on bully sticks, barking like a banshee at little black dogs..or little dogs in general, eating and best of all sleeping.
Pet-Peeves:
Little black dogs, little dogs, cats, deer, moose, elk, anything moving and bigger then him except horses and cows, baths, water, being told what to do.
Favorite Toy:
Hmm..he really doesn't play with toys anymore. It's beneath him, but every once and a while he will amuse his people and fetch a tennis ball.
Favorite Food:
Anything he can eat!
Favorite Walk:
From the bed to the couch, the couch to the food bowl, the food bowl to the backyard and sometimes to the car!
Best Tricks:
Bringing beer from the fridge...we just need to work on not dropping it along the way! =)
Arrival Story:
I got Brooklyn when he was 8 weeks old, along the side of a highway. He was wondering up the highway with his Mom (a Rottie) and ten other litter mates who were all tan. He was the only ‘seal’ one in the bunch. I followed them in the car as they seemed to know exactly where they were heading, and they ended up back at their ‘owners’ house. Which wasn’t much of anything let alone a house. I asked the owner what he was doing with the pups and he said “gettin’ rid dem�. So I took the litter, keeping Brooklyn and giving the rest to the local SPCA. This was all on my way to moving from B.C. to Alberta! So it was hectic to say the least. I was in a tiny Mustang which was packed with two cats and 11 puppies! So life with Brook began....it was hectic through out. He once tried to jump through a CLOSED glass window to um well “visit� the neighbors furry black dog. Whom he hated!
At 135lbs he jumps any fence better then a dog half his size. Yet he is lazier then hot molasses!! He likes to chase anything bigger than himself, such as moose...elk and deer. No he does not get the chance...but man he would LOVE TOO!
He is an awesome dog, even though he has a few shortcomings..but don’t we all?
