Arrival Story:
After Brandy and Shadow (English Springer Spaniels) passed away within two months of one another, we were at a loss and no Springer's were available so we decided to adopt a golden retriever. We had heard such wonderful things about their personalities-all true. In the fall of 2000, Buddy became a loved part of our family.

Bio:
Buddy is one of the smartest dogs that we have ever owned. He loves walking around the golf course by our house with my husband looking for golf balls. He usually finds quite a few on his own. He also dives for golf balls in the streams by the course. He has actually come up with two in his mouth when diving for them. He loves to swim and could spend all day in the water. He has had some obedience training which he picked up quite quickly but he still has a mind of his own and sometimes has memory failure when you want him to listen. He has been a great addition to our family.
