When we called, they had one pup left which was supposed to have a home, but someone backed out at the last minute. I went to see him the next day and it turned out, he was meant to be my dog. :-) I had to leave him until he was 8 wks old when I went back and picked him up and brought him home for good. Bio: Dewey is a friendly and energetic Border Collie who spreads cheer wherever he goes. He has a really sweet personality and loves people. His family thought he would make a great therapy dog and got him started in training when he was 5 months old. He passed his TDI test and began visiting in the summer of 2006. He currently visits local nursing homes, the hospital and schools.
Dewey is spoiled rotten and loves to be the center of attention. He is extremely smart and seems practically human at times. He loves going to training classes, to the park to play Frisbee, and shopping at the pet store. He also enjoys agility, playing with his toys, chasing the laser, and “swimming” in his pool. Dewey is always ready to give kisses and will gladly do one of his tricks in exchange for a treat or a belly rub. His family feels very lucky to have such a wonderful dog and are glad to be able to share him with others.
