Daisy's Daily Dose of Reality

Owie owie

Hi we are home.
Daisy has about 20 stitches in her tah tah. We're calling it a tah tah tuck~
She is on pain meds but we can tell when they are wearing of, she grunts a lot. Otherwise she is doing as well as can be expected and even going potty.
The next few days will be the worse, and we are very hopeful that this will resolve her issues.
And the boys are doing great after their dentals~

Big Day

Well tomorrow,Monday is the big day,.
Not too sure what's so big about it.
Something about seeing my boyfriend who is a vet and getting my tah tah clipped away so maybe I won't get any more stones or infections.
Boy wouldn't that be nice??
And then they going to clean my teefers while they are at it.
And my brothers Nugget and Duke are going with me!! They are getting their teeth cleaned too. Boy they have stinky breath!!
Ok so hugs to all my pals~

Surgery next month

Well this is it! Mommy is pulling out the top guns for me!!
See, many of you know I have had UTI's, vaganitus, crystals and stones almost my whole life.
Well, last year we learned about a dachshund pal named Penny who had surgery to removed the fat and skin around her vulva. I have an "innie" mommy says. My tinkle pools under that skin. She cleans me all the time. Mommy will say "Let me clean your peepee" and I roll over for her. IT feels good to be clean but really, mommy can never get it all the way. And then maybe that all leads to my infections.
So, next month I too will have surgery. They will cut away the skin and the fat. I Will have stitches and then we hope with all of our might I will be "normal"!!!!
We hope I can be off of all of my homeopath and antibiotics and be a happy healthy (as healthy as can be) little girl.
Wish me luck. It will be October 19th.
