 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 1st 2003
Likes: Belly rubs, walks in the neighborhood, the beach, retrieving things from the water

Pet-Peeves: Does not like to get her paws muddy.

Favorite Toy: Tennis balls, my t-shirts.

Favorite Food: Salmon treats

Favorite Walk: Albany Bulb beach

Best Tricks: She sometimes "points" when she sees something during a hike -- nose straight out, ears up, front paw tucked to chest. She'll do sit and down, and will fetch until she's decided the game is over.

Arrival Story: She was rescued by someone else from a Los Angeles utilities yard. I saw her on petfinder and made arrangements to meet her during a business trip. We all hit it off, so her foster mother drove her up here a month later and we completed the adoption.

Bio: Sasha had a doggie DNA test, and now has her results. She's got Akita, Chow, Siberian Husky, Poodle, and Boxer in her. Hmm ... surprising, those last two. And that's all that's detectable!

Forums Motto: More meat please.

It's back to doggie world for me, where dogs run and swim, but don't actually blog. Our paws are too big to type (accurately) on a keyboard, and our vocabulary is fairly limited to 3 or 4 words (best accompanied by hand gestures). Thanks for joining me on my explorations. I have truly enjoyed your company.

Finally, a romp on the beach and a swim in the bay! K. says a big ship hit a bridge a while back and that, as a result, tons of toxic sludge closed the area beaches. For a while, when she'd try to take me to the beach, signs on the beach warned us away (DANGER DANGER!). But today, the signs were gone, and the beach is BEEAUTIFUL. Clean as a just-licked paw.

After four months of traveling, movable dens, and general craziness, we're back home! K. says that we visited the following states: Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. I spent much of this time in the back of K's car traveling between the usual doggie states of hunger, sleep, and contentment. But I did get out for some interesting sights and smells.
