It's my birthday!

Hi Everybody! It's my birthday today! I am one year old!!!

I already got some shoes for my birthday, which I hate! But mom says it will keep my feet warm when I go for walks in the snow. And, it's supposed to snow this weekend, so it should come in handy.

I heard that my dad is going to Petco today. He always comes home w/ yummy treats after Petco! I'm excited!

Mom says that now that I'm a year old, I have to start behaving myself and act a little more grown up, but that's not me! I am Rocky the Troublemaker!

What's a birthday?

My mom keeps saying that my birthday is coming up, but I am not sure what that means. I've never had one of those before... She said she and dad will get me cool gifts, but I need to start making a wish list. So, that's on my list of things to do, right after eating, pooping, and playing with my toys... Does anyone have a good idea for what I should put on my wish list??? If any of you out there have had one of these birthday things, what cool gifts did you get????

Hi there, I'm Rocky!

Hi, I'm Rocky, but my mom and dad call me Rocks or Rock, because they are lazy and don't wanna say all two syllables!

Mom said she signed me up for this dogster.com thing yesterday, and I don't really know what it is, but she says I already have a few friends on the site. Fun!!! More friends!!!

Anyway, I'm staying at my mom's house right now, and it's a little lonely because she's always working. My dad's house has more space and more things for me to destroy, I mean, play with, so I like playing there. But, mom says dad is in London right now, so I can't play at his house. He will be back tonight, and I'm so excited!

I'm really lucky to have two homes because I know that there are many unfortunate dogs out there who don't even have one home, so I will try to appreciate mom's house a little bit more. I know she feels bad 'cuz she can't spend more time with me, but she says she needs money to pay the bills and buy me stuff.

I used to only have one home, but my dad and mom said they are going their separate ways so now I have two homes. They both care about me a lot, so they make sure they continue to be a part of my life even though things are not good between them. I feel so loved!

Anyway, that's my story for now. I'll try to post more entries as life brings on more surprises for me.
