My sugery and other stuff

Boy has it been a looooooong time since I have written a diary entry! So much has happened since the last time I wrote! Well to start things off mommy put me on a diet because she says I am a chubber wub (whatever that means) so now I have a structured meal time every day instead of free feeding. Mom says she likes the idea of free feeding because it makes a dog less food aggressive and thats why she raised me that way. She said she had to change it because I was getting too greedy. Hmmm what else. Oh yeah, about two months ago I had an accident in the backyard when mom let me out for a quick run. I had already had a bad knee and mommy was expecting to have it fixed when I was older but I went and messed it up sooner so I had to go to the v-e-t to get it fixed. They called it a luxating patella and put some stitches in there to build up some scar tissue to make it strong again. So far recovery has been good, and just recently mom has let me run free. Before she was so afraid I would mess up my knee again. I am excited to have my playtime back because as a Min Pin I am a big ball or energy! Mom took me in for my yearly vaccinations 2 weeks ago, and apparently they gave me something new because I had a reaction to it and had to be rushed to the ER! Mom says shes glad that she noticed the symptoms early on so that she got me there before it really got serious. She also says she wishes she got a picture of me before they gave me the steroids cause I looked like a pit bull or even my meaty mouthed sister pei Ally. After everything was okay, they were laughing at the way I looked which I didn't think was too nice. I swelled so much that I could barely see and was barking at anything that I wasn't sure about...even the house plant in the lobby of the ER!! My favorite stuffed duckie died it got "wet" and mommy tried to clean it but she got it too wet with water and the inside electronics died. It's okay tho because mommy got me duckie number two and he is my friend now. Welp I guess thats it for now. Woof s and Wags everybody!

I've gone and done it this time!! (Daisy Does the taxes)

Well I think Ive finally done it, ive driven mom to insanity. She left me out while she went tanning and so I figured that since I messed up the last time she left me out alone I would make it up to her by doing her taxes for her..HOW WAS I SPOSED TO KNOW YOU WEREN'T SPOSED TO SHRED THE FORMS!!!! She was mad and I mean mad, but she says that she should have known better and she's thankful I didn't get her REPLACEMENT W2's (she had to get the replacements b/c I ate the originals) Anyways I was only trying to help, I dont think she's mad at me anymore because she gave me a french fry at dinner time. But i still feel bad about it. I think from now on I will just give her lovin and play with her intead of trying to help her with stuff, I love my mommy and only want to make her happy. Well goodnight ladies and gentledogs, Im gonna go watch that cute movie on FOX with the hot little Chihuahua in it. Woofs and Wiggles!

= Dear rescuers, please see below warning about Tony & Rebecca Williams-they use small dogs as bait & all kinds of dogs to use in the fighting arena...Tony is currently trying to get another animal to torture and will go far and wide he is currently checking out petfinder please do not adopt to these people....and PLEASE PLEASE crosspost/forward this email to other rescuers/animal lovers.
He is trying to adopt all over the East Coast. They are from Rocky Mount, NC. and get animals shipped to him..so we have to get the word out before he tortures another animal/animals.
Also please put him on your do not adopt lists. . Please cross post. I thought it important to let all my rescue friends know that I was personally contacted by this man, Tony Williams, ! today by telephone. This man and his wife have recently been on all the DNA lists circulating the rescue lists, as they are trying to get their hands on many of the large breeds for fighting (rotts, pits, etc) and also small breeds (perhaps as bait dogs). He called today, gave his name and location, was quite polite.. ....he wanted to send me a check for a JRT we have on petfinder, and have me ship her no questions asked. So I
explained our adoption rocedure. he politely declined and hung up. I was pretty shocked to actually hear from him, so please be aware that he is checking petfinder ads and maybe contacting other rescues about dogs. They are going out of their area looking for dogs to adopt.

Holy WHITE STUFF batdog!!

Welp it happened!! The white stuff came back! My first snow was back in december but was nothing like this!! Mommy took me out in it this morning and it was over my back...she should have warned me that it was deep, but she just let me go full speed ahead!! She laughed really hard but i dont think it was all that funny. She tried to get pictures of me but i wouldnt keep still long enough! After i started to get cold mommy brought me in and thats around the time the plow came. Naturally I had to supervise from my bedroom window to make sure he got rid of all the white stuff. A few growls here and some woofs there did the job, he was very obedient. Anyways, maybe mom will take me back out again today. Till then ima go sit in front of the heater for a little while. Stay warm everyone!

Mommy's new ride and other stuff.

Mommy was gone almost all day on Saturday. She said she was getting a new safe car for us to ride in. I'm not quite sure whats wrong with the truck, I liked it cause it was tall enough for me to see the people in cars next to us. Mommy said something about the trucks engine blowing up (whatever that means) anyways we have a brand new red car now, but mommy wont let me get in it yet, she says its too new. She also said that since we are in a new car she wants me to ride safely so I have to wear a seat belt. I dont know what that is but hopefully its an accessory to my cute pink hoodie.

Mommy left me out of my crate on Saturday because she felt bad about putting me in there during the weekend. I got kinda bored tho so i decided to help mom dispose of some of her papers, I thought she would be so proud of me when she got home, but i guess i was wrong, she was pretty mad actually. I really only got rid of one envelope but apparenly it contained her W2's, im not sure what those are but from mommys reaction i think they were pretty important. Kinda like the time i ate her rent check. Oh well maybe she has learned her lesson not to leave me alone without something to do, but she did leave my special music on, and that did help a little. I also had some time to play feed fatty ally. I like to shoot my food under the door to my Pei sis waiting on the other side, she really likes my food, but mommy says i shouldnt do that because she has to eat special food since shes allergic to the normal kind, but surprisingly Ally is doing well with my food, mom says that maybe she outgrew her allergies. I dont like those alleries cause it means mommy has to give me Benadryl. I havent gotten it recently tho, mom says its cause its winter and there really isnt any pollen but when it gets warmer out then my allergies will come back, hopefully i will grow out of them just like my Pei sis Ally. Well mommy says its time for me to go. Woofs and Wiggles everybody.

The Other side of the fence

I got out of the house the other day. I wanted so badly to see what was on the other side of the fence. I timed it just right so when Poppy opened the glass door I bolted out. I could hear mommy yelling after me but I tell ya I was Zoned!! I made it all the way down to the end of the cul-de-sac before mommy made it to me. It was pretty funny watching her run through the neighborhood in her PJ's and ugly fuzzy slippers. She seemed pretty upset when she got to me. I don't see what the big deal is, I can take care of myself! Besides mommy says I'm microchipped (whatever that means) shes says thank goodness we didn't use that day to find out if that little chip worked or not. Well I wasnt lost anyways I knew zactly where I was going...kinda. Anyways, theres a new rule in the house since I got out. Now I have to wear my harness and tags all the time except when it's bed time and crate time, you know, just in case, mom says its a precaution. Whatever I had everything undercontrol, I dont know why she has to freak out so much.
