Arrival Story:
I saw this strange cross breed advertised in the paper-we had been looking for a chocolate standard poodle but were a bit worried about pure breds after our experience with Jacques. I rang her lovely breeder and decided it was worth the two hour trek to visit the "irish poodle" pups as they are known. They were bred (from a water spaniel mum and a prize winning chocolate standard dad) on a small property- a bit like "where poodles run free" a really fantastic environment. We decided on Lily although she was quite shy.... and in fact she hid for two days once we got her home... all a bit stressful. Now she loves us and I would highly recommend this particular mix to anyone, especially those who like big, cuddly, intelligent, beautiful dogs.

Bio:
Lily listens to you when you talk to her and is a master of the "quizzical" expression. She loves being watched when running around- she carries herself like a supermodel. She has a sprinkling of white over her back and under her tail that looks like she has accidentally been painted. Her tail is an exuberant weapon, even when she is swimming, you can see it madly waving.
