WHY???

Due to a cancellation in wedding plans my home just didn't pan out the way I had hoped or even the way my adoptive parents had hoped. I am a great girl. I got along perfectly with 2 small weenie dogs and am simply an angel. Its sad because I was loved feeling loved....I had gone from being darted as a scared stray to simply being a very loving house dog. But Animals 1st has assured me there is a forever home for me. I am ready for a new home

I am now ready to go to a loving home I will be spayed on March 1st and is heartworm negative. i haved cleared up from my upper respiratory infection and heartworm negative. I loves playing with other dogs !!!!! (Note from Holly Bella is one sweet girl. She has been through a medical treatment protocol which has required extended time in her crate and she never once complained. She has a lot of patience. She must have known we were trying to get her well. Bella is probably around 2 years of age at the most and still has the face of a puppy. Now that she is healthy she will begin to grow and blossom in every way. She is going to make some lucky family a wonderful companion....don't let this one pass you by

This is one sweet girl. She loves to play with other dogs and gets along fine with cats. Due to being sick when she came into rescue she had to spend a lot of time in isolation and never once complained about being crated and separated from the other dogs. SHe has THE SWEETEST FACE EVER! After observing her we feel she is likely not even 24 months old yet. Every time we look at her we just want to grab her chops and squeeze them. A complete love muffin! We are waiting for her congestion to clear up before spaying her. So she will probably not be ready to go home until the end of February. But you are welcome to come meet her with an approved applicatio

In rescue

we took Bella to el campo which is about 3 hours from Corpus where we met with anther couple that took her the rest of the way To her foster up in dickerson .I will update once i hear more ,.....TO Bella .You touched my heart more than you could ever know .and i wish for you all the happines and love .In this through feeling you know i love you. .......Will update once i hear from her foster thanks

DRAY RUN (Day one)

Hi all and what can i say wow can life be any better is it possible that this is a dream ?No im here My temp foster mom came to get me and my caregiver and friend from animal careservices said goodbye Goodbye ?where am i goin?i love this lady Abbey but i was hugged and led to mrs margarets Dane hoopty mobil and there we go off to GAWD knows where .Well there is this house and i say to myself Hmm are there more like me ?Wow where there 3 guys and a lil gal all danes the lil gal is a foster she was so happy to see me so we all sniffed and made our howdys and there it is i am home until saterday when i go to another foster home until i find my forever home .Ms margaret took me to the vet guess what Im hw neg in fact for all ive been through im really healthy tell me why do humans cry with joy whenthey hear this ?Hmmm i m so happy i sleep in a comfy bed play with the danes eat great and get so many hugs and kisses i swear these people are part dog for today is my Birthday of a new life and i thank everyone .Fromthe creator to all big and small wags and licks Bella

Life is such a blessing !!!!!

Hi all only 1 day to go until i am able to leave !!!!my temp mom is getting things ready for me at her house where i will stay until my BIG day saterday when i go to my foster mommies home (love to mom) .Not only do i get to go to a house with other danes and a foster but i get to be spoiled and loved and a comfy bed until we make a trip in what mrs margaret says is the DANE HOOPTY MOBIL (RUFF RUFF ) imagine that .she was telling me that she loved me the day she saw me and how i really put that pawprint on her heart ,She told me that i am beautiful and how happy she is that i am going somewhere that i will be sooo loved and cared for and get better ,She really is a funny lady talking to me As if she can understand DOGLINGO but she says she see s it in my eyes .Its really awesome that two leggers really pull together as a pack to get me to rescue .I am overwhelmed but so waggy it makes me wiggle ,Well i will bark at you Thursday and let you all know .WAGS AND LICKS........Bella

My name is Bella .i am a great dane gal .and my story begins with An officer that caught me running hungry confused and so scared they brought me to the shelter and with kindness led in in my temp home Gosh that kennel is so clean and did you know they went out of thier way to give me foodthat was healthy (i overheard them talk ) so i can gain some weight .They came and gave me oinment for my swollen eyes and said how beautiful i am (.i thought i was ugly i was thrown out once i was no longer useful .) Then this lady came by and with animal control working hard together i am on my way to rescue !!!!Wow it does feel so danerific to know there are people out there that see that i am a living creature .I try to say thank you .For giving me the first day of a new life . It means so much to us dogs that there are 2 legged angels that do care .I want to thank Abbey from animal care for coming on her days off to lovenly put oinment in my eyes and her kind words .To Jaime that also came in visited me on his days off and for pulling for me and his kindness.. C.Canimal control for saving me and treating me with dignaty and compassion .And Holly from Animals 1st for opening her heart and rescue to this gal Holly sent a letter actually saying they cannot wait to have me in thier lives and take care of me until i am able to find a forever family(wow i am wanted!!!) .And thank you DOGSTER for your prayers and friendship and the love you all have and hold for us 4 legger WOOFERS AND SLOBBY LICKS Bella ..

And we named her Bella...

We are in the middle of making transport arrangements for this girl from Corpus Christi Animal Control to AnimalsBella 1st.

As you can see she will require some much needed TLC and vetting. She probably suffers from demodex mange, intestinal worms, etc. We believed she was used for a breeding machine and never truly cared for or loved. We can hardly wait to get her into our home and turn her life around. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!
