I am sooo excited!!! When I was first adopted by my previous owner....I was named Petunia. I responded to it because I knew I was supposed to and that was the only way I ever got any attention.

When I was returned, my new foster parents continued to use that name. I didn't mind it because they used it in a happier voice and I liked that. But, it still made me think of my past life and that wasn't really good.

About a month or two ago, my Dad and Mom were talking about a new name for me that would coincide with my other 2 greyt greys...Lucas and Lacey. Dad came up with the name Lexie. I was so very happy and I was a little confused at first too. NOW.....I respond to my new name all of the time....no more bad thoughts. This truly makes me a forever member of the family. I am finally realizing that I don't have to go anywhere else ever again.

I wanted to share this with all of my dogster friends and let you know that I am no longer Petunia.....I am now Lexie!!! YIPEE!!!
