 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: January 24th 1991
Likes: Now, to be left alone

Pet-Peeves: Almost everything!

Arrival Story: Misty came to us at about 2 years of age when we were trying to addto/improve on our breeding stock

Bio: As a young dog, Misty was affectionate, playful, (a real alpha female to other bitches that weren't "hers") and a super show dog with several group placements. She did some pleasure sledding as a young dog as well. Over the years she produced 4 litters from 4 different studs, the litter size ranging from 1 to 7.
Now well into the twilight years, every day she has left is a bonus. Sheis weak in the rear and has trouble getting up and getting going (though, once she does, she can still move a a pretty good clip!
Misty has doggy alzheimer's anddoesn't want to be touched or handled. We thought we would have to help her over the bridge in the Fall of 2004, but she is still trucking along. Some of the dogs keeping her company in these twilight times are three of her offsping (all Canadian champions) Sara, Sunny and Kara, as well as one grandpuppy, Xerox. Those on Sibernet will also know another of her daughter's Tia.
Don't know how much longer we'll have her, but we count each day as a blessing!

On Feb 24, 2006, at 15 years and 1 month of age, we bid goodbye to our precious Misty. She had been failing for several months, and always managed to rally, but this time it was not meant to be. While still able to "get around" there was no longer any joy in her life, and so she was helped over the bridge. Mistyspent most of her life with us and produced a number of excellant show dogs, but more importantly, fantastic companions. Left to mourn her loss at home are her babies, Sunny, Sara, and Kara as well as her "grandpuppy" Xerox. Others of her offspring in other homes include Sebastian, Torin, Tia, Tova, Tequila, and Kodi. Rest in peace, Misty and play with your babies who predeceased you (Tchai, and Rascal) we miss you!
