Arrival Story:
My husband and I had been contemplating a greyhound for 3 years after going to several meet and greets. We became acquainted with Peoria Greyhound Adoption and their adoption coordinator at that time, Theresa Klein. We were invited to help bathe greys that came in from Florida at her home one weekend. Lucas came off of the truck, came into the backyard and proceeded to sit down between my husband's legs. Well, that was the beginning of a wonderful loving relationship. He has been with us almost 2 years and has been the best teacher we could have ever wanted in learning about these awesome dogs.

Bio:
Lucas lives with 6 cats ranging in ages from 4 to 21 and 2 other greys...Lacey and Petunia. His racing name was "Great Beyond".
