Arrival Story:
I grew up with Malteses and my first doggie ever was Candy. She was 15 when she was put to sleep after having a large cancerous growth. We were all heartbroken when she passed away a few years ago. I had been wanting a puppy of my own ever since but it was terribly hard to work the kind of hours I did and have a little puppy. Then, I got the job of my dreams working from home and my finance and I decided we could get one.
We all went to the breeder (including my mom and dad) and they brought out a handful of puppies. (MY KNEES WERE WEAK!) My dad picked one in particular who was very calm and sweet. When I looked at her tag around her neck it said "Candy". When I asked them what that meant, they said that "Candy" was this puppy's mother. I knew it was meant to be and we bought her right away. Chloe reminds me so much of Candy and has become such a force in our lives!
