Update! He played with a rope bone tonight (Jan 31)!!!! I think he likes rope bones. :) He doesn't seem interested in playing with toys, but he will play with you.
Favorite Food:
He's been snubbing his Purina for my dogs' Wellness kibble. He *loves* treats.
Favorite Walk:
He's been great walking with Shakey and me around our neighborhood.
Best Tricks:
Climbing into your lap, looking at you with those brown eyes and commandeering loving and petting
Arrival Story:
I was fostering Scotty for Schnauzer Rescue of the Mid-Atlantic (SRM).
Bio:
Scotty was adopted on February 12, 2006. You can see his adoption photo at the bottom of this page.
Scotty is almost 8 years old, up to date on his shots, neutered, housebroken, and crate trained. He recently had a dental. He'll willingly go into his crate to hang out or sleep. Scotty does pull on the leash however. He gets along well with dogs and cats. He is a really sweet boy and wants to be near me all the time. I'd guess he'd be a good velcro lap dog. :)

OMD! Scotty’s previous foster mom here. Scotty’s dad left me a voice mail yesterday on Scotty’s birthday to let me know how he’s doing! How paw, er, awesome is that?!?! My heart squeeeeeed!!! Scotty is 15 now! His dad said: "so far he is doing ok, haven't had any major problems with him health-wise, he is not hearing as well but other than that he's a healthy little dog and a gift from God. He's been a blessing to me." Scotty was on the couch with his dad was petting Scotty’s head as he was talking to my voice mail. Awww!!!
Why, it’s getting a little dusty in here... where are the onions I feel like I should be chopping up.. *sniffs*

Scotty was adopted on February 12, 2006. You can see his adoption photo at the bottom of this page. He's with his new dad and older schnauzer brother. What a happy family!!!

Happy Eighth Birthday to my foster boy Scotty! He'll get extra love and treats today, and we'll be celebrating with Frosty Paws tonight! I'm glad I got to spend his birthday with him, but we dog lovers know that his best birthday present this year will be being in his wonderful new furever home this weekend. :) :) :)
