If I could wish just one wish ...

it would be to get rid of Annie!!! The girl is crazy! She is muy loca! I think she literally bounces off the walls and I try, I really try to play with her - but she is challenging ME for my pack position. HA! I don't think so! Don't you all worry though, I am standing my ground. The couches are MINE! I don't take any of her nonsense. If I don't want to play and she keeps getting in my face, I just let her know. She doesn't always "get it" though ... maybe she is missing a few screws ...

Did you know ...

Psst! Did you know that they have MICE at Petco?!?! I went there yesterday after my day at the spa and my mom showed me these mice - and they were right there, walking around and huddling together ... I just know they were trying to think of some tricks to play on us dogs. And one was even running in a wheel ... still haven't figure out what that is for ...

Anyhow, I tried to get to them, they were RIGHT there ... I was scratching and screeching, but I could get through ... there was this glass all around them. Talk about frustration!

These are the times ...

lately, mom has been letting me dig. She tells me to "get it" and I do - I just jump right on it and dig away. I am pretty sure I'm going to get something one of these times! It is totally fun to start digging. I get frustrated though because I can't dig fast enough before I'm told to stop. Digging is lots of fun! And while digging, I'll stop and put my nose to the ground and take big whifs, it makes me snort like a pig! hehehe that is so fun! And you get dirty too - who doesn't love to get dirty?!

Let's talk about poo...

Well, not really! My mom has been taking me to the dog park lately - talk about fun! I get to run and say hello to lots of different doggies of all shapes and sizes. There are big ones and little ones and medium ones too. And they have agility equipment which I love to do because then other doggie moms and dads will say, wow! Why can't you do that? (they are talking to their own dogs). So I like to do that and then get praised for it too. Did I mention I get to run lots and lots there too? And smell all over. My favorite thing to do is run from of my owners back to my other owner. I run sooo super fast and I have so much fun!

Hey, I think all the doggies should go to the dog park and then we can have lots of fun!

I am on her heels!

Molly's that is. I am now going to move up to Competition Agility classes. That is what Molly was in. Mom didn't put her back in though because she thinks she knows it all. Whatever!

Now, I am in the class Molly WAS in. And I am going to learn all those tricks. Mom has been working on distance/layering with me. It is totally cool. Like, she will send me on the dog walk and then go way far away and I hit my target even when she is far away. And she can layer some jumps with me and everything. I think she is FINALLY getting that I don't need her right beside me the whole time. Gosh! I'm not Molly, I don't need constant supervision, just tell me where to go and I'll go! Well, most of the time! :)

Anyhoo, I get to go to a trial next weekend and run in Jumpers and Touch - n - Go. My mom still won't put me in anything with weaves so I'm still behind Molly in that sense. But when I can do them, I'll be lethal! Oh, and like, my mom pulled me from Tunnelers this time because I just don't like them. She finally got! WHEW!

My NADAC Trial

So, here is the thing, I still can't run anything with weave poles, but I can run in tunnelers, jumpers and touch-n-go with my mom. So she let me do that last weekend at a NADAC trial. Molly was there and did really good the second day. And okay, fine, she did better than me on Saturday. Actually, she beat me in most all of my runs that weekend, but who cares?! It was so fun!

See, first, I got to run in jumpers, totally fun! I did miss a jump and back jumped like what Molly did but it was still totally fun! Then I got to do my first ever touch-n-go. But wait a minute! Hello?! No one ever told me the equipment would be different. I did not want to take that dog walk for nothing because it was so different than where I practice. I finally decided to trust mom after like, three times of saying NO WAY! And it wasn't too bad. Then the same thing with the A-frame, there were no slats so no way I could make it up there. But again, I decided to trust my mom. And she was right, I could do it! So, while Molly did get first place on that run, I got second! Yup, even with all my refusals of getting on the equipment and all of my hesitations I still made it under time and qualified! My first touch-n-go too!

On Sunday I got to do touch-n-go again and had another lapse in memory. I didn't want to take the dog walk again but I quickly remembered that it was okay and that was it. I didn't beat Molly there but still, I got 4th place and Molly got 3rd. In tunnelers, yeah, that is so stupid. All you do is go through tunnel after tunnel. So again, I started jumping on them and going around them. The second one I decided to give it the old heave ho and made it through the entire run without missing a tunnel or going on one - but I was going slow too, I don't like tunnelers, it is boring! But in Jumpers, now that is fun!!! I was running like the wind, and was graceful too! I had lots of fun there. And when I got to the tunnel I was in such a rhythm of jumping that I tried to jump on the tunnel! hehehe I was "IN" the moment, ya know? But I got a Q so I was totally happy cause that means a TOY! Q means toy, and what girl doesn't like something new?!

My next trial is in November, another NADAC one... maybe mom will let me do the weaves then!

Ready or not, here I come!

Well, it has begun...

A couple weekends ago I got to run in a NADAC trial. It was SO FUN! I did Jumpers on Saturday and I qualified! Mom didn't trust me though and she kept calling me to her when I was running and so I'd come into her and then she would have to push me back out. If she would just trust me then I can run super fast!

But, on Sunday, my grandma was there and so I wanted to goof off a bit. In tunnelers I got bored going through tunnel after tunnel so when mom would send me in, I would go ON TOP of the tunnel. THAT was fun! hehehe Then in Jumpers one of the bar setters got up when he was in front of me to change seats so I went to say hi but on my way I caught my grandma's smell and tried to find her. So, I don't think I did that well, but I had fun and mom said that was most important.

She said there is another NADAC trial in September that I will get to be in too and so I'm really excited. AND! We just finished our agility class and my teacher told me that I can move up to the next level - Intermediate II!!! She said I am actually running and playing and having fun and that I am ready for the next class. I am SOOO happy! Before you know it, I may get to run in the AKC trials too. That is what Molly runs in the most and she thinks she is so special - but just wait!

Fast on Molly's Track!

I'll show Molly - or as I like to call her, Miss Thinks She's so Smart Cause She Does Agility! Mom put me back in agility. I've been through the class THREE times now but hey, that only means I'm PERFECTING my skills. Mom says she isn't gonna put me in ANY trials that have weaves until I can do them better than Molly - SO THERE! She said if I'm good then I can run in a NADAC trial doing Jumpers and Tunnelers. I think that sounds fun!

I did really good in class today too. I even let my mom get a lead out on me. Class is fun, and now, I get to go with my brother, Max. So that is cool! I will be an agility star yet!

Okay, WHAT EVER!

Molly is so stupid! She thinks she is better than me cause she gets to be in a trial. So what? I don't care! I get to go to the trial so there. When I want to do agility, I'll do agility. But right now, I'm still trying to find myself and I'm gonna take my time finding out just what *I* want to do. Maybe I'll let you know when I find out.

Humph, agility!

I guess mom wants me to be in agility. I like it - if all it was were A frames, dog walks and teeters, maybe a few jumps. I do everything but sometimes, I would so much rather sniff the ground - it has more interesting stories than the equipment. But it is still lots of fun cause it is just me and mom! Well, it used to be, but now I have to share her with Molly - and Molly gets to do a lot more running without a leash on than I do. But it makes me so mad that Molly gets mom's attention so I be sure to stick by mom when I get to run. I have fun when I do that. But why does my mom send me in tunnels when I can't see? I usually just turn around and go out, but mom makes me do it anyways. I just don't get it!
