Something new is here, and it's MINE! It's MINE!

This new thing showed up a couple months ago. A loud noisy thing that I felt so sorry for! Is it hurt? Can I help it? What do I need to do? Mom? Dad? Someone TELL ME WHAT IT NEEDS!

I really didn't know what to do. But I knew when it came home that it needed me. I heard my calling. Mom and Dad didn't understand that it was MINE to care for. It needed ME.

I've come to realize that it doesn't need me at all. In fact it doesn't even notice me. But it does notice Mom and Dad. And they seem to be the only ones that can make it stop being loud.

Someday it will need me though. And someday I'll be there.

It is HOT outside...

And I *love* it!!!

I am so happy the weather is warm! All I want to do is lay in the grass, or lay in the bark- it is so nice!

The only time I don't like it hot, is when I have to come inside and go to bed. I would much rather lounge outside. Sometimes Mom can't get me to come in.

Ahhhh.... Summer time is so wonderful!

I wasn't feeling so good yesterday!

Well I know it seems like my diary is filled with not-so-good moments, but in my life, I am more of a glass half empty dog. I have a hard time finding all the good in things. I will try harder!

Anyway, yesterday I wasn't feeling real well. My hind legs were bothering me, it was difficult to sit comfortably, and my walking was stiff. Mom and Dad were really concerned that I had fallen or something, although I'm keeping it a secret what I really did. I have learned my lesson though!!

After they called the scary place and got some advice, I did not end up going anywhere yesterday. Thankfully, they let me rest in my bed and did not make me do too much running around the house.

And today?? Today I am all better!! It must have been because I know I would have ended up going to the scary place. I think I was just worried that I hurt myself more than I actually did, because when I woke up this morning it was like nothing had ever happened. I ran out of my bed, outside and have had no problems since.

I really didn't want to go to the scary place!!
