Arrival Story:
When our family found Puddy at the county animal shelter, he and his brother had been put up for adoption by a couple who could not afford the vet bills to cure their skin diseases (which turned out to be mange). His brother, a black lab, was adopted first, because (as we were told) his mange couldn't be as easily detected by potential owners as Puddy's, since he is a yellow lab. Frankly, when we saw him, he was listless and kind of, well, mangy and his ear looked like a porkchop. But he was so sweet he won our hearts. With the care of a good vet and the love of a family, Puddy was cured in no time! Being big Seinfeld fans, we named him Puddy after Elaine 's on again, off again boyfriend who is no Einstein, but endearing nonetheless.
Bio:
Puddy loves his 5-person human family AND his sister, Mowser the cat on catster.com who welcomed him into the family the first night he arrived. Puddy recently welcomed new brother dog, Eddie Waffles!
