Arrival Story:
I adopted Sheldon from a county shelter in 2000. He was skin and bones, but I knew he would be a great dog. And he was. His heart was as big as his body. He just loved making new friends. When I drove home from the shelter, he put his head on my shoulder as if to say, "I am going to love you forever. Thank you for taking me home."
Bio:
Sheldon was a goof. And the goofier he was, the more I loved him. He loved to annoy, whether it was his four-legged sisters or me. When they wouldn't tolerate him, he would come to me and bug me. But I knew he just wanted the attention and love. I miss you, big guy. You were so full of love and sweetness. I wish you were still here to share that with me. You will always be in my heart, Sheldon.
