Arrival Story: We had been talking of getting another boxer, a female for Hubble. But we wanted to wait till we got a house of our own. We plan to move in about 8 months or less, so we figured it was more practical to get her now & let her grow up here, not too far in age of Hubble....and to also get thru the stages of potty training BEFORE moving. I kept thinking no, not the right time, but I HAVE been wanting another boxer ever since Hubble came along. He is such a good dog and REALLY needed a friend. My husband was searching the local paper for another fawn....I said that if we get another dog, I wanted her to be different.....i like the brindles and think the white ones are irresistable.....so cute! But I really wasn't aware of their potential health issues. He said, "well look and see what u see". After reading over the ads, I found a white one, a few towns away from where I live. My husband and I just looked at eachother, and somehow I knew she'd be coming home with us. He made a phone call & about an hour later, we were at her doorstep. The rest is history. She came home that night at 6 weeks old. She was the only pup left of a litter of 5. Her mom is white, and her dad is fawn & white. I know they hated to see her leave, but they were very passive about the situation. They knew she had found a nice home, with plenty of love to go around.
