Favorite Toy:
tennis balls, anything of Storm's

Favorite Food:
Carrots, biscuits, and those peanut butter treats she gets at obedience class.

Favorite Walk:
Sierra loves any walks, but she likes the woods the best

Best Tricks:
Sierra is learning right now, but she does a great impression of a lowrider with hydraulics

Arrival Story:
Sierra was a owner surrender in Kentucky. We found her online and adopted her right before X-mas. We don't know much about her past except that the owner didn't care about her much and fed her ol' roy. She was extremely underweight and has obvious nutritional deficiencies. She has juvenile cataracts and epilepsy. Regardless, we absolutely adore her and are so happy she is with us in a forever home.

Bio:
Sierra's first week with us was terrible. Growling, biting, and just a general lack of cooperating. What a difference a month has made. She is now in obedience classes and is doing so well. It was obvious Sierra had been beaten by her previous owner. She was really scared and handshy when she was first starting out in training. She is now acting like a lady but still gets into puppy trouble at times. She is eager to learn more and loves to be praised. Storm and her are getting along much better and sometimes can be found kissing each other.

Oh that Vet!

As much as I love going on a ride in the car I should have known something was up when Storm didn't accompany us. First off, what a short ride and none of the usually fun such as windows open, driving past the park, none of that. And there it was the huge horse painted blue with pictures of all of his victims....The vet . I should've known, mom told dad last night about a 10:30 appt. But I figured maybe she was talking about an appt she had for work, a new listing, or perhaps a closing which always makes her happy, but no, I'm such a fool! So we ventured in and right away Dad is on the defensive with me, making me pretend I'm a show dog or something, having to act all prim and proper. All I want to do is say hello to everyone and Dad acts as if they aren't even there, he is so unsocial. So we waited and waited and I could feel the tension setting in, my body stiffining with excitement and my nose dripping because of the beastly smells in this place...his dungeon I like to call it.

And then they called my name and right away I know what's going to happen, he is going to stick that thing up my butt as soon as dad lifts me up on his cold metal torturing table. Oh dog, here it comes....

Wait a second, what's going on, he's not making me get on the table, in fact he's smiling at me and talking to me real pretty, what is happening?
Oh, there it is, the needle, nothing up the bum, but my dog, look at the size of that thing! At least I'm not on that table.

Oh Dog, please make it so I never have to come back here again, why oh why are they so cruel?
