Arrival Story: Sasha was rescued in 1996 when she was about 18 months old. She was found through an Internet search and the entire rescue was done online -- with the exception of having her flown from Detroit to Pennsylvania! I'm not sure if this was the first "virtual" rescue -- but it has to certainly be one of the early ones since the WWW was in its infancy at that time. Bio: Sasha may not have much of an interesting legacy, but I understand one of her brothers was the first boy Kuvasz registered in Australia! And other dogs from the same breeder (Szumeria Kuvasz, now in Minnesota) are always in the running at the major dog shows.
