Arrival Story:
Pookus was rescused by the Animal Care Society in Louisville KY. She was found living in a lumber yard, with two puppies and a broken leg. The wonderful people at the Animal Care Society rescued Pookus and her puppies and Pookus underwent surgery for her broken leg. I went to the Animal Care Society because I wanted a dog that would "sit on the couch" with me and watch TV. She now not only "owns" the couch, but also demands to hold the remote!!
