 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: May 25th 2001

Favorite Toy: His Nyla Bone

Favorite Food: He loves chocolate chip cookies

Best Tricks: Sit and stay - hey, I'm a lazy dog.

Arrival Story: Travis and Lindsay (my mom and dad) found me on petfinder. They had just suffered a terrible loss of their first dog and were looking for someone to love. I was there to fill that space in their hearts. A rescue in Philly had posted my listing and they drove all the way from Frederick (3 hours one way) to pick me up on Memorial Day weekend. I had been rescued and gone through a variety of names. I was left in a kennel in my own waste and had no hair on my belly or end of my tail. I was severely underweight, which I have seriously made up for in the last 2 years! At to top it all off, when they picked me up, I was covered in fleas so before I could even relax in my new home I had to get a flea bath out back.

Bio: Hank lived a wonderful life with us and blessed our lives in so many ways. In October of 2006, Hank was diagnosed with canine diabetes. His mom and dad tried desperately to regulate his diabetes with diet, exercise and insulin shots twice a day but unfortunately, despite our efforts, we could not get his glucose levels under control. He had several seizures and on Friday, December 8, 2006, we decided to end Hank's suffering. We miss you so much Hank. Our lives will never be the same. We love you!
Hank was a great dog. He was always content to hang out in the kitchen while mom and dad were at work and greeted us every day like we are coming home for the first time. He was so laid back and loved to lay in the recliner with Travis. He was a low maintenance dog and we could not ask for a better one. Hank did a great job as big brother to baby Garrett. We were nervous about how Hank would respond to a little one in the house but we were shocked at how well he adjusted. He always wanted to sit in Mommy's lap whenever she got on the floor but once Garrett was here, Hank loved to lay with him. Garrett loved to smile and giggle at Hank. Hank would give him big kisses and make sure he does not have any dirty diapers.
Hank you will always be remebered.

Forums Motto: My favorite place is in the recliner!

I may be gone but I am always here looking out for my mom and dad and brother Garrett. Thanks for visiting my page. Mommy may come back one day when it is not so painful for her to see my smiling face. I had a wonderful life with them and am so thankful they rescued me from the previous life. I know they did the very best to try and help me get better but it was just too much. They wanted me to be pain free and they made the best decision they could. I loved them so much. I will always be here as a guarding angel-dog to look out for them.

Well, it took my mom a little while to get back into the swing of things but she finally got a minute to update my webpage. I am a big brother now. My baby brother was born on May 31, 2006 and came home on June 2nd. My parents were really nervous how I would respond but I did really great. They slowly exposed me to the baby and now things are great!! I don't care for his crying but I always like to make sure he is taken care of and I let my mom and dad now if there is a dirty diaper hiding in there. Thanks for visiting my webpage!

Well, my mom and dad are getting ready for the new arrival. They found out that they are having a little boy. They said they might name him Garrett. They are working with me to calm down around kids so that I can stick around. I really want to be a good big brother!
