Arrival Story:
Jerry Lee is a pound puppy. The dog catchers found him roaming the streets alone at about 4-wks old. We, in turn, found him on the city pound web site, fell in love with him immediately, and camped outside the SPCA to adopt him. He was perhaps 5 lbs. at the time.

Bio:
As with many rescued pups, JL was scrawny and wormy at first. After some TLC, some worm medicine, and lots of Nutro glucosamine dog food, he is now a large 65-lb puppy, and fit as a fiddle! He has become a loving member of our family, and although he playfights with the cat regularly, even our feline loves him! Jerry Lee is territorial and protective, but is also very friendly and social. He gets along unusually well with small dogs (the local Beagles and Malteses are his best friends) We love Jerry Lee dearly, and he is a wonderful member of our family!
