I miss you little one!

Harley was a huge part of our lives. Harley was involved in a very tragic accident and did not survive. Harley passed away on 02/14/07. He did not suffer and for that we are grateful. Harley was a little dog with a huge heart, we think it was fitting that the little dog with the big heart went to the other side on the day of love. Harley did not know a stranger, and would happily greet anyone. He taught us how to love unconditionally and the value of patience. He was as mischevious as he was sweet. He loved anything you called a treat, and was a sucker for people food. He once ate an entire burrito and did not show any signs of not feeling well except that he burped and passed gas all night long! He loved the beach, for him there was nothing better than running free down the beach and surf fishing with his grandpa. He also had a blast when he crashed his little mommy's 8th birthday sleep over bash. He showed up at the condo with his grandpa and ran and kissed all the girls and then rolled over on his back for bellyrubs. He also had the uncanny ability to make you laugh at the most stressful of times. I loved coming home from a long day at the clinic and hold him, he made all the stress of the day just fade. He hated getting out of bed in the morning also. He would wake up Aliyah with kisses in the morning and then demand all of her attention. He would not let her get dressed, he liked to lie on top of her clothes and pull her socks of her feet so she couldn't put on her shoes. Then he would crawl into the bed and refused to get out when it was time for us to leave. There are so many memories that we will have of Harley and all of them wonderful and funny. I miss you little one-you will always be a part of us and thank you for all of the life lessons!--------------------------Your big momma

My first visit to the beach!

I am a big boy now, the folks decided that I was finally old enough to go to the beach. It was so much fun! I played lifeguard just like I was on Bay Watch. I think I am much more macho than that David Hasselhoff guy. I went for a jog on the beach, but I didn't get too far because my overprotective humans started calling me back. I went for a swim, I was hoping they would have bought me a surf board but no such luck:( I did some surf fishing with my grandpa and shared a lunch with my grandma. I even caught a crab and then killed it like any tough machoman would! I just love the beach and can't wait to go back. The only down side to my whole beach experience was that when I got home I had to take a bath! Well I gotta go I am bushed and need a nap!

I am so cool!!!!

Yesterday I found out I was included in the Chi Girl Magazine for this month! My wela found it on the computer on Pebbles page. I was so excited to see my name mentioned under the Bachelors looking for love page. My mommy (she's 7yrs old) has been sick so I have been trying to help out as much as I can. Like when I think she looks uncomfortable I will take her socks off for her and when she can't finish her food I will clean her plate for her. I also like to lay on her chest and take naps with her. I even run out of the room when she starts to vomit and run around in circles in front of the door like a crazy man to get someone's attention. I am so tired from her nonstop coughing, It seems like everytime she coughs if I kiss her she stops. I think she is purposely coughing just to get more kisses!

I am a totall sweetie!!

A few nights ago my mommy (she's 7yrs old) woke up from a bad dream. she was crying and really upset. My grandma and I sat on her bed with her and tried to comfort her. I licked her tears and laid on top of her chest, then when my grandma left the room I stayed with my mom until she fell asleep again, then I snuck out and came out to play. My grandma said I was such a sweetheart for taking care of my mommy so well. She even called her friend and told her what I did. I love my mommy she is a sweet girl, she feeds me, and doesn't get too mad when I play with her barbies. Just because I am a total stud muffin doesn't mean I cant have a sensitive side.

I love stinky stuff!

It's been said that I love anything that smells rank. It is true I cannot deny this accusation. For me the stinkier the better! I love grandpa's socks when he gets home from a long day at work, I love to stick my entire head into his shoes, and today I discovered the most wonderful smell of all. I discovered fresh fish! Oh yes, that heavenly smell actually woke me up from my afternoon nap, I woke up sniffing the air and when I realized it was coming from the kitchen I literally dragged myself on my tummy into the kitchen and sat and watched my grandma take the scales off of the fish. It was almost too much to bear, grandma kept complaining about how her hands were going to smell for days. I kept thinking "please Lord let them stink for months" it's such a nice smell. I couldn't stop smelling the air and licking my lips. I even walked on my hind legs halfway across the living room when my grandma came out with the trash bag full of fish junk trying to quickly latch on to the bag. I also couldn't bear to leave the oven while it was baking I just laid there and waited until it came out. Later this evening I also had a little accident:(. I was running around the house doing my late evening cardio workout. I was running so fast that when I tried to jump on my grandmas bed I actually flew over the bed and hit the dresser! It didn't hurt too bad, it's a good thing that i'm so macho otherwise my pride would have been really hurt!

I made an oopsie!

Today is a better day, but yesterday I got into some trouble here at home. My family went out for a couple of hours and I was pretty upset that they didnot take me. So I decided it might be fun to play with my mom's (she's 7yrs old) new barbie doll. I just love to eat their hair and pull of their shoes! It's so much fun and keeps me busy. My mommy also got this really neat horse that looks me eye to eye and It has very long hair! I also thought it would'nt be a big deal to poop in my grandmas closet. I mean come on it was a little one and I didn't think it was stinky. When they came home and found a half dressed barbie with tangled hair, a horse with a messed up mane and the little "I'm so glad you left me alone" present in the closet I knew I was in trouble! I got a time out from my grandma:(. But today things are great and I am trying to stay away from those barbies!

My first diary entry

Hi everyone! My name is Harley and I was so excited to find this site. I hope that I can make some new friends here. I live in Corpus Christi Texas where the weather is almost always hot and beautiful. My days are very busy I usually start my morning with a 6:30 am wakeup, a 20min morning walk ( i like to take my time) and then I wake up my mommy Aliyah and help her get ready for school. I like to steal her socks when she is getting dressed and I love to lay on her freshly ironed clothes (they are so warm!). After breakfast I go on another walk, play with some of my toys and then crawl back in bed with my grandpa to sleep. I usually wake up again about 1:30 pm and take another potty break, play some more and usually take a little power nap around 5:00pm. I always wake up though when its time for dinner, I have my owners trained to give me a few samplers from thier plates! I play some more then find a warm spot in bed next to my mommy and turn in for the night. I'll tell you what its a hard life around here, It took me some time to train my family but i think i have them right where i want them.
