Arrival Story:
Sparkle was found on the side of the road being kicked by some people. Her foster home succumbed to her wicked charm and has decided to keep her.
Bio:
Sparkle is a typical Cattle Dog grrrl and has a ton of energy to go along with her intelligence. She learned how to lift gate latches so now every one is locked so she can't explore. This girl's got some legs and they have springs in them! Sparkle loves to bounce and jump and is doing well in her agility classes. Maybe Spring 2008 will find her in the agility ring.

I've started AGILITY! and I love it! I get to put my jumping and twisting to good use. The only thing I don't really care for is the tunnels and chute. Those can be scary!

I'm not sure what really happened on Tuesday but I keep hearing the word "SPAYED" tossed around when people talk about me.
All I remember is that Mom tossed me into the Durango along w/ that bully Festus and then just gave us to some lady at this place called the vet. She didn't even bother to say good bye....just handed us over like common goods!
This place made me very sleepy and when I woke up, I was mighty sore and confused. All I wanted to do was sleep some more and not ever move. I also learned that if I whined and whimpered, I'd get lots of luvin!
My granny also gave me a wonderful head to paw massage which made me feel oh so wonderful. I could use one of those every day!

After Mom taught 4-H class on Sunday, she took me and Sydney to this place where there was lots of smells, lots of people and lots of WATER!!
I'd never been in the water but man, oh man!! What fun I had! Our friend Katy the brittany met us there. She loves the water too!
We romped, splashed, jumped, and explored as far as our flexi leads would let us go. Mom doesn't think I'm ready to be off leash yet. Can't imagine why?!
Did I mention I had FUN? I love the water! I also walked around the edge of the water and found lots of interesting smells and places to poke my head into.
Life is good when you get to be a water dog....
I can't wait to get to go back!
