breaking his legs (two so far), mommy shoving medicine down his throat, being restrained when everyone else gets to play

Favorite Toy:

Favorite Food:
canned Natural choice dog food, steak from Mom and Dad's leftovers and Greenies as long as his teeth hold up. Gollum has sensitive teeth that need professional cleaning a couple times a year.

Favorite Walk:
anywhere around downtown Fort Worth where he can strut his stuff and get lots of admiring humans to adore him

Best Tricks:
Gollum can pluck rose petals off of roses without knocking the vase over. He's also really good at backing up to you, like a horse, for a good scratching; jumping straight up into mommy's arms when I'm being chased or when I'm tired of the dog park.

Arrival Story:
Artimus and Mom drove four hours each way to pick up the new little puppy. Artimus detested the idea. He growled at his little brother. Until one day, he discovered Gollum was the best bed warmer ever! This little ball of heat came in really handy when they have to stay in their crate together. Gollum beat Parvo early on. He has had a host of physical ailments, but as of March 2006, he feels excellent.

Bio:
Gollum misbehaves in the cutest of ways. He causes trouble but quickly gives you the weepy big eyes, and all is forgiven. He has broken both his front legs. He got his cast off January 17, 2006. He was chasing a squirrel running downhill at Trinity Park. His mom, dad, and brother Artimus were all there with him. Dad drove us to the hospital then a couple of days later, he got surgery to put a metal plate and 8 screws in his leg. Dr Franks of the Dallas Vet Clinic (Dr. Bertrand 2 years ago) and Dr. Hultman (Central Animal Hospital) put our baby back together again. He's very wimpy and fears hurting himself again. He may be the only dog we know that hates the dog park. He fears another dog will hurt him. Italian greyhounds are extremely fragile.
