Likes:
Running by far is her most favorite thing, but playing with her human runs a close second.

Pet-Peeves:
Her 'sister' trying to eat her food or play with HER toy, rules in general (who ever thought rules were good things?), strangers who don't introduce themselves properly, and leashes (DOUBLE YUCK!)

Favorite Toy:
Soccer ball rope toy, hay (yes hay), and a piece of rope that came off a muck tub.

Favorite Food:
MilkBones and People Crackers are up there, but the occassional piece of leftover meat tops the list!

Favorite Walk:
EVERYWHERE!

Best Tricks:
Sit, laydown, bring toy, come, and the all important howling with emergency vehicle sirens.

Arrival Story:
Ruthie and her littermates were at a flea market one Saturday. We had lost Grace's (our other dog) sister (she passed on) a few weeks before and were looking for a new friend for Grace. Now taking a puppy home from a flea market isn't something I'd recommend, but well it happened! Ruthie was the runt of the litter and had been brought back to the person giving the pups away 2 or 3 times already that day. I saw her and couldn't resist those sweet blue eyes and precious face so well, she came home with me and the rest is history!

Bio:
Ruthie enjoys aggravating the snot out of her sister Grace as well as long runs through the pasture and woods. If you were to ask her what her purpose in life is she would tell you, "To prove my superior intelligence to all human life forms and chase a duck every now and then."

So my Mom is a are-tist...grrr, however you spell that! She makes sculptures of dogs and cats and all kinds of other critters. You should check her out! I'm hoping she's going to make one of me real soon so she can put my beautiful mug on the Christmas tree!

Wooooooooooooof!!!!

You can see her stuff here: http://cbarjcrafts.etsy.com

Fridays are good days in my kingdom!

It's Friday and I am going to go and rule over some other peon dogs later this afternoon. Mom is taking us to play at Corky and Blossom's house. That Blossie, she thinks she's hot stuff but I got news for her- SHE AIN'T! I'm the queen around here and the sooner everyone learns that the better off we'll all be.

Imagine the audacity of another dog thinking it's okay to smell my butt! That's a royal butt ya know! Not just anyone is allowed to sniff it. Harumph! The things we aristocratic dogs must put up with. And from our own species no less!

Have legs, will run.

Since I am of superior intelligence I don't really need my human to write for me, but I may occassionally allow her to interject a thought every now and then. As you've been reading on my profile I'm an incredibly intelligent and atheltic canine.
Yeah, that's right, don't let my beauty fool you! I can run with the big dogs too.

Today I've been laying out in the sun, enjoying the cool wind and temps. Being that I'm a sibie/collie mix, I have a lot of fur and well, I just feel better when it's cooler outside.

Soon it'll be time to eat and annoy my sister, Grace, so I better go get prepared. Until next I type again. . . Happy Paws!
