   Leave a bone for Gracie

Booger, Grace, Gracelyn, Hoochie Dog

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:

Food!!!!!! Well, food and getting some love from her human!

Her 'sister' getting all the attention, cats (don't even mention them around her), and leashes (YUCK!)

Favorite Toy:
Any toy that she can destroy is her favorite, although she is VERY partial to her 'squeaks' and will allow them to remain intact for awhile despite her overwhelming need to shred.

Favorite Food:
Anything that is edible, and some things that probably shouldn't be! Grace loves MilkBones.

Favorite Walk:
Around the pasture and through the woods.

Best Tricks:
"Find it!" Grace is a 'finder' and can track down most anything you ask her to, including her sister and ALWAYS her 'squeaks'!

Arrival Story:
Gracie was adopted by some friends of our family. They were under the impression that she wouldn't grow to be very large and would make a nice house dog. Well, didn't quite work out that way! Grace came to us when she was around 4 months old because she was just too much for the other family to handle and they wanted her to have a big yard to play in and humans who were experienced with dogs to care for her. And so here she is, almost 4 years and 65 lbs later, weighing in at a total of around 75-80 lbs. She's a big girl, but is nothin' but a love bug.

Grace is the resident cat hater and squeak search and rescue professional. She can chase a cat and find her squeak and her nose never leaves the ground.

Uhh, you gonna eat that?

So my Mom is a are-tist...grrr, however you spell that! She makes sculptures of dogs and cats and all kinds of other critters. You should check her out! I'm hoping she's going to make one of me real soon so she can put my beautiful mug on the Christmas tree!

I am SOOOOO bored right now. My Mom is going to be taking me and Ruthie to play next door afterwhile, but I wish afterwhile would hurry up and get here sooner. It's such a nice sunny day and I really wanna be able to run around and play before the rain comes.

Yuck. Rain. I hate rain. I wish everyday could be sunny and warm and 72 degrees. And I wish I could have a never ending supply of squeaks. And I wish I could eat all the food I want anytime I want, but Mom says that would make me really fat and probably sick. Sick is no fun, so I guess I'll have to put that wish on hold.

Speaking of fat, my Mom needs to stop eating so much too. She's gonna blow up like one of those stinky oink things. She's always talking about how she needs to lose a few pounds anyway, so maybe I'll inspire her with my girlish figure!

Wind, wind, and more wind. . .

[GRACIE :] The wind has been blowing pretty hard here for the past few days. It's really hard to narrow down any one certain sent because they're flying by so fast. I guess I will have to settle for sniffing my sister's butt every now and then.

I wish my human would hurry up and get our new fence finished, I need some new scenery!

[Christina, the human :]
The wind has really been blowing fiercely the last few days and it's kind of getting on my nerves. I want to work on the dog's new fence as much as they want me to. I think they're really going to like it! It won't be Buckingham Palace for Pets, but it will at least be a little nicer than what they have now.
