I'm contemplating leaving home. I'm trying to fashion a little napsack to take some snacks wiff me. You see, I'm unappreciated.
Mom has been planting flowers and herbs like crazy lately. She bought several new planters and large bags of potting soil.
She had 3 large bags of potting & garden soil on the patio. I was out there sniffing around yesterday while she was in the house talking on the phone. I got tired of waiting, so I decided to help her. I ripped the bag open wiff my bare teef to help her and make sure no spiders or other varmints were in there.
She happened to look out the door and she nearly swallowed her teef! She gasped so much I thought I was going to have to bark 911. Really, she was torn between being mad and thinking I was cute. The latter prevailed. Whew!
It was time for Dad to come home so Mom saved it for him to see. He was almost speechless. He helped her clean it up and got the blower out and blew off the patio. I would have thought they would have been more appreciative!
After much thought, I may wait til later to leave. Mom has a huge crock full of treats for Zoe & me. I guess I really have it made.
(By the way, there are still two large bags of garden soil out there! Heeheehee!)
Leave A Comment | 3 people already have Ya know what? Doze hoomans really ARE unappreciative! Dad's been trying to container plant tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, cantalopes, and for some reason he doesn't think I'm much help! Oh my goodness! You did an amazing job helping your mom! YOU did great! I'm so impressed!
(You've got a little....right there on your face....a little soil left over.....no, to the left a bit....down a bit....) It looks like you worked hard. You are a very good helper
Someday are parents will appreciate all the hard work we do.
