Favorite Walk: Esther and Zach=the back yard. Sam on the trail with dad

Best Tricks: Esther can dance and the boys do not really do tricks...does beg count?

Arrival Story: Zach was rescued from a bad environment as a new puppy. Samson we found in the paper and Esther I choose from a newborn puppy and anxiously awaited when I could go get her.

Bio: Our house is our dogs home. We pretty much run our lives around them and that is okay with us. They bring us much joy, laughter and love. We would never have three at one time again, but enjoy our life with them.

How do you pups tell your pawrents when you need to go ou

ESTHER: Esther is the love of my life (sorry boys, I love you too) She wormed her way into my heart the way no other dog has done. She loves her mommy. Fact: her tail was naturally bobbed when she was born which is good as I would of never opted to do that to her.
ZACH: Zacchaeus is our third Sheltie and the most beautiful, he is a sweet soul.
SAM: Sam should of been named Stitch. He has a quirky personality and the biggest brown eyes that will melt your heart. He thinks everyone is here to see and pet him. Everyone loves Sam.

To my sweet wee little man, Zacchaeus. Nine years ago you entered our lives, this sweet little ball of black fur that was afraid of nothing. You were the polite one, tolerated all the teenagers that were in and out of our home. Your one little vice was barking and oh how you loved to bark. Dad and Licie were mad at me when I taught you how to spot a bird. One time we took you to Portillo's for hot dogs with us and we never could get you to quit barking in the back seat and eat your french fries and then remembered "we forgot about the birds" you were enthralled with all the sea birds that were hoping around our truck hoping for a french fry themselves. You have lived the past couple of years struggling with so many different health problems, but never complained. May you rest in peace and you will be in pain no more. Thanks for all the wonderful memories, you will be missed.

Hope all our friends are keeping cool! What a summer so far, first half of June was April like weather and now the second half is like August, how confusing! Us dogs are just a little pampered, even if mom and dad go and sit in the backyard, we want to stay inside with the a/c!
xoxo

Okay, I know this is supposed to be a special weekend, but not so sure about for us fur kids this time. The 18 month old little girl is coming to visit. We are not used to having those sqirmy little people around our house, so to be on the safe side, mom said she will keep us in the backside of the house and seperated from the girl. Hopefully we can go outside a lot and keep three steps ahead of the her. Then there is poor Zach. He is moving quite slowly this week and has started barking at the bottom of the outside stairs like Ritzi used to. He is afraid of coming up and he will if one of the people will go down and walk behind him. Poor little 'ol man, we will have to watch him extra close because he can not get up and run from her as fast as Sam and I can. Sigh. I will be glad when it it Tuesday and we can just be normal again.
