To have her butt rubbed
Do not mess with her tail
Really doesn't have any
Anything but especially CHEESE!!!
Anywhere outside where the wind is blowing
climbing up on Shannon to get her plate :), also I have learned to scratch open the deck door when Daddy doesn't pay attention to me
Sarah was rescued after being abandoned in a swamp. She had lost all of her hair, had worms, & had heartworms. Linda & her husband nursed her back to health. They also brought her 2 babies back but had to put one of them to sleep because it was so ill. We had just lost our first dog & I begged my parents to get another dog because I couldn't stand being in the house without a dog. We saw an ad in our local paper by the same person we had gotten our first dog from. She told us about Sarah & my parents went to pick her up. She was not really that friendly at first. We had to be careful every time we opened the door because she would try to run out. She would have to be the one who intiated contact & would run if you made any sudden moves that scared her. Now you can just flop her around & do whatever with her. We both needed each other.
A few months after we got her we went back & got her son, Ranger. He's still on trial basis after 10 years. I don't really think he's working out. lol
My parents seem to think Sarah is losing her hearing but she hears me just fine. Selective hearing :) She's definitely my baby. She listens to me over anyone else. :) She is just Shannon's baby.
Sarah loves to swim in Linda's pool. She loves cinnamon Jelly Belly's. She can jump straight up on all fours when she's laying down. When I bark you better pay attention.
I am Shannon's baby & I am the Queen!!!

I made the painful decision yesterday to put Sara to sleep. Her quality of life was not anything taht it use to be. She was walking from 6 in the morning to 11 at night & would stuck mentally "stuck" places. She was confused 90% of the time, couldn't see or hear. I couldn't bare to see her like that. She is now with Sugar & the puppies she lost in heaven. They are playing & running together. She can see, hear, & is enjoying her life like she use to. We had a sushi picnic together Sunday afternoon out on our deck & I loved every minute of it. I know that she is happy & understands why I did what I did. I will always love her. She's the best dog anyone could ever hope or ask for.

I don't know where to start. We had just lost our first dog & I begged my mom to get another dog cause I hated being in the house alone. She looked in the paper & saw where Mrs. Ramsey was advertising another dog that had just been found. I begged her & my dad to go get her. They did. Sarah was found in a swamp with 2 of her puppies (1 later had to be put to sleep). She was full of worms, had no hair, & had heartworms. Linda (who found her) nursed her & her surviving puppy (Ranger) back to health. My parents brought Sarah home & she was scared to death. She had to initiate contact. If you made any sudden moves, she would run. After a few months, she got over that fear. Now we can do anything with her. She's like a little ragdoll. She came into my life when we both needed each other. It's hard to believe that it's been 13 years. It seems like yesterday. She is the best dog anyone could ever ask for. Whoever abandoned her missed out on something special. Sarah has got it made. I can't think of living without her even though it will soon happen. Sarah has kidney disease & a heart problem. Her time left with me is short. She is wonderful & taught me to love again. She will always be with me no matter what.
