Good Week!

I had such a good week! The best part was my field trip to mom's grandma's house on Tuesday! I got to run and play in her big field! It was fun! I was darting through the tall grass and running like crazy!

Then, this weekend my aunt Terri came home on Saturday. We played and danced! I was having so much fun, that I woke Terri and mom up early this morning so that we could continue to play! Then, later in the day we took an extra long walk through our woods!


Mom said she is so proud of me for doing so great with my exercise and diet! She's sure that I have lost more weight!

After Ella's passing, our family was devastated. You guys really helped cheer us up with your words and gifts, though!

Busy Days!

Wow! The last three weeks have been busy! My bladder infection has cleared up... mostly. I just have to go to the vet one more time next week!

The big news, though, is that I have a new baby sister! Mommy found an orphaned puppy on the day after Christmas! The poor little dear was cold, alone, and so hungry! Mommy has been taking care of her and has now added her to Dogster! You can see her page here! Isn't she cute?!

I have to admit, I get a little jealous of all the attention she's getting! I'm growing fond of her though!

Grrr! No more vet visits!

I had to go to the vet again today! Mum noticed that I was having trouble taking a tinkle, so she called the vet. I went in a 4:30 and met two cute little doggies! The vet said I had another bladder infection, so he put me on some medicine. I'll have to go back in a week to be checked again!

Then, I got to go to PetCo! I picked out a toy and mummy bought me a few things like grooming spray and bath wipes. I had fun! A nice man showed me a cute Dracula costume that he thought would look cute on me! He also said the pretty beagle on the cover looked like me! I was flattered!

Calm Down, Girl!

I gave mummy quite a scare when we were coming home from the vet after the second visit! The first visit was really quick and mummy and grandma stayed with me the entire time, but on the second visit they left me alone! With the vet! For 3 hours!

I was so happy when I saw them and Connie coming to get me that I did a little dance. Then, as we were driving away I started having trouble breathing! Mummy was so scared!

They thought I was having a heart attack! They rushed me back to the vet and it turned out that I was just hyperventilating a little! Ooops. I just was so happy to be going home!


Our vet is really nice though. I have another appointment next week. Four visits in two weeks... I think the vet must really like me!

Good News

I have some really good news! I don't have diabetes! The doctor says that it is just a bladder infection which he gave me some medicine for!

Also, the doctor tested a lump that mum had recently discovered on my back and it turned out to be benign! Plus, my yearly heartworm test was negative!

I'm a pretty healthy doggie!


The medicine (for my bladder) that I'm on is not fun to take though! The first few times, I took it easily. Now, I like to be tricky and hold it under my tongue and then spit it back out. Hehe. It's fun! making mummy play fetch with my pill!

Vet! Ick!

Mummy took me to the vet today because I had trouble using the potty. I got a full physical and got my early shots. They think I might have diabetes!

I have to go back tomorrow for a little bit and I'll get the results of the tests! I hope that I don't have to have many more shots! I like the car rides, but the shots hurt!

KONG!

Why has no one told me how fun Kongs can be? I stole Connie's and have been playing with it all day! It's a blast and the treats stuffed in it are so yummy!

Getting in Shape!

I'm a little overweight, so my mum has been watching how much I eat and exercising with me even more than normal!

I've lost a little weight already! I'm really excited!

I can already exercise for longer periods of time without getting tired! Yay!

The One Where Ginny Takes Walks

My family has been taking me on nice long daily walks recently! They say I need more excersize so that I can stay healthy!

I love the runs! I do have some trouble keeping up with Connie, though! She's such a big doggie and can run so much faster than me!

I especially love 'hunting' on the walks! I like to track all the scents in the yard and follow them barking the whole way! They never let me catch anything though!
