A Letter To Our Sammy Jo

Sammy, on June 4th we had to say our good byes and let you go. Every day since then has been so hard without you, we miss you so much. We're so sorry you had to be sick, we wanted so badly to make you well but it just wasn't to be. We just want you to know that even if we knew, 8 years ago when we got you, that today we'd be hurting so badly, we would still have taken you home and loved you. You made us smile everyday. You made us laugh, you gave us so much love. Do you know how much you were loved? We will never ever forget you little Sam and even though you can't be with us we will continue to love you. We have almost eight years of happy memories to cherish, no one can ever take them from us. We think of you everyday and the cute things that made you....you. We love you Sammy, we miss you more than words can ever say. Rest in Peace our precious one....love, mom, dad and Toby Jo

Good Bye Little Sam Sam

Our sweet sweet little Sam had to leave us. On Thursday, June 4 he went to the rainbow bridge. Thank you all for the prayers, God didn't heal him like we wanted but he did grant him a very good day on Wednesday. He was so much better, the coughing was less, he was able to lay down and sleep like normal, he actually ate some food on his own and he had a wonderful time at the park before I had to go to work. When I came home that night he was bad again and I knew this time he wouldn't be feeling better in a day or two. Our hearts are so broken, we miss him so much. We took him to a beautiful pet cemetary where we will be able to visit and sit and remember all the good times we had together. He brought so much happiness into our lives and we hope we gave him a happy life too. Sammy, we'll always love you, we'll never ever forget you. A part of our hearts went with you. Good bye our little one........

Please Pray for our Sammy, The doctor says he's very sick. She said his heart is failing and his lungs are filling with fluid. He won't eat on his own but we are feeding him a high calorie perscription dog food, from a syringe. We are asking everyone we know to pray for Sammy, since Monday there has been an improvment, I know with lots of prayers Sammy can improve even more. To those of you who have sent Sammy the Power of the Paws and have offered prayers for him, I can't tell you how much we thank you. Sammy is so special to us. Thank you all so very very much.
