Tired of Moving!

Well, this is the last week we'll be in Boise. On to some place called Salt Lake Silly? I dunno, I've never been there... BUT I'll have a back yard so I'm sure it's fabulous. Mom says after this we're never moving again, and I won't complain. I hope I meet new wonderful friends in Eagle Mountain! Please feel free to send messages to mom, I'm very interested in play dates with Neutered Males that are very tolerant. We're still working on my social skills a bit - any help is always appreciated. My house or yours?! I can't wait to show off my new backyard! I'll be so happy when the cats can go outside again. It's been close quarters around here. If you live in the area, check out our group "Haute Dogs of SLC" and join in the fun!

Until next time,

Traveling Dog Callia

Seems like we lived just about everywhere in California. When we lived with mom's friend Majdi for a couple weeks, things were rough! I had to hide from the landlord because I wasn't really supposed to be there. I couldn't bark at all and mom couldn't really go anywhere because I would howl! Majdi's big mean tabby cat, Buddy liked to taunt my food aggression by eating my food out of my bowl! He doesn't even LIKE my food, he just wanted to make me mad. I don't think I miss him much, but you can see him here all you like: http://www.catster.com/pet_page.php?i=247545&j=t.

We're in Boise, Idaho now until December when dad is done with OJT. My cats are stir crazy, cause they have to stay in. They run like a pack of wild zebra all night, up and down the hall unplugging things, knocking things over, running into the walls, etc. It can be hard to sleep at night around here. I miss having my own backyard. I like to pretend that the courtyard to our apartment complex is mine. What? It's outside the back door... The neighbors get mad when I bark, trying to protect us all! Some humans really just don't get it.

Last night was our first training session at PetCo. I was so good! I have more training than any of the dogs there, and our instructor Robyn likes to use me as an example. It really just means that I get a lot of treats. We learned how to properly do "Watch Me" and Mom is confident that this will really help my focus when all kinds of things are going on and she gives me a command. So for any of my friends that have been wondering what I was up to, Like Nickel (I miss you!!) things are ok! Oh, and Congrats to Nickel on her New CAT!!! Yeah!! Visalia is going to need a Catster page, Aunt Kim.

Grandma is having a really big flat screen HD TV installed in the den today. Strange men are here, with ladders and tools, and talking loud. I kind of liked them until one came in holding a flashlight over his head. I guess I thought he might hurt me. I only barked at him, didn't attack, which is a huge improvement for me. We are still living with Grandma while Dad decides if he likes this job or not. In 90 days, when things are secure, mom and dad are buying me a backyard!!! Well, it has a house in it too, but who cares? Mom said we could keep all 4 cats too!

I don't like plane rides. It took us 20 hours to get to Los Angeles from Rota, Spain. I didn't pee in my cage at all, but Zapato did!! I had way more water than he did too. I miss my backyard in Spain, and I'm not sure I like Grandma's alpha female, Roxanne. She thinks I'll steal her toys, and doesn't let me get to my food bowl. We had one fight already, and I came out bloody. Mom was really mad, because she had just taken me to get groomed. Life is so confusing right now for me, and I really miss Dad. Mom just keeps telling me that soon things will be better, and I can have all of my stuff back that's in storage!
