Arrival Story:
My name is Snoopy and I'm an English Foxhound who is looking for a home where there is lots of room to run and someone to love. I came to HSHC as a stray with my friend, Linus, but was in pretty horrible condition. I'd obviously been on the run for some time and my naturally thin body was just emaciated, I was covered in mud, and had other minor health concerns. All of those have been taken care of by staff and I'm still working on gaining weight. I've recently been neutered too. I'm good with most other dogs but sorry, no kitties for me... remember, I'm a hound dog! I'll need someone used to my type of breed, which means, you know I'm big, goofy, curious, and use my nose... a lot! I'll need some basic training as I've probably never been inside, but I'm working on all of that here and staff is dedicated to make me a wonderful pet. I have the personality which is as good as gold and wonderful. All the rest will fall into place.

I'm in foster!!

I am in a foster home now. I know it is not permanent but it is better than the kennels. I really hope that I get a home soon along with my gang which keeps growing. My old buddy Gargoyle is back and he is in the kennels. He is listed with another person along wit there personal dogs. Habibti is getting so lucky, she is gonna be in a movie (the credits) and she has a home furever. I wish I was that lucky. I like the home concept except they are teaching me things like sit and come. I really just want to play I don't want to work, but the people in the house are very stubborn. They keep telling me to sit and then if i do i get a treat (that's the only good part). I hope soon someone will give me a furever home like Habibti has now. I have been up for ado0ption for so long now, about a year and no one wants me. I can not figure out why, I am a good dog i think.
