Arrival Story:
Lillie (our female Doxie) needed a brother. We almost didn't go for Rudy because he looked so sad and was teary-eyed. The more we held him we knew we couldn't leave him.... He grew on us real fast!

Bio:
Rudy was the last of his litter to go, likely because he had HUGE feet for a mini dachshund. Everyone's loss was our gain. He is the sweetest, most loving and lovable, best personality little dog you'll ever meet. He's very protective of Lillie, and now with his new little playmate brother, Andy. UPDATE: 04/06 Several weeks back, out of the blue I decided to email pics of Rudy to the breeder to show her how handsome he turned out. She wrote back stating that Rudy's brother had recently been returned to her as the buyer did not want him any longer.... To make a long story short, I did all I could to find his brother a good home, preferably someone I knew so Rudy & brother could visit occasionally. Once we picked his brother up, our hearts melted, and loving Rudy as much as we do, there was no way we could see not keeping Dusty. I haven't made a page for him yet, but Dusty is on the sofa with Rudy in the main picture. Dusty is a very pretty boy, whereas brother Rudy is the most handsome noodle dog ever!
