Arrival Story:
Lyna was our friends husbands dog for 4 years- since being adopted as a puppy from a charity auction. Her husband passed away, but then known as Carolina, was his dog. Our friend hung on to her for 4 years but knew she didn't fit into her lifestyle. My husband told her one day that if she felt she couldn't have her anymore, we would certainly take her. The call came in October 2005. Ms Lyna has taken in our hearts and she fits in great!

She loves the birds. She wishes she could fly too.
She has also since living with us become a "beachy girl". Lots of birds and lots of smells.

Last weekend was girlie weekend at the beach. I just love going to the ocean and staying with 4 other girls. Lots of laps to lay on, lots of food and hand lotion. I get to go shopping and to the beach.
My mom does this 4 times a year

Dear diary,
I have been at this new home for about 6 months now. I can not express how life has changed for me. I have a great brother - Munchie - whom I look up to, a super mom and a really, really great dad! I have a family pack again and its so wonderful!
I get to go to a second home at the beach and chase the Seagulls. Sometimes I wish I could fly high in the sky. I love to explore new things such as dead jellyfish, smelly crabs, dead birds and the whole new world around me.
Its great to be alive and well cared for now. I get my daily walk to the dog park and sleep with mom and dad in my own little bed. I get breakfast and dinner in a timely manner and mom and dad recognize when I'm not feeling well.
I'm just so thankful and I love life!
