Last night mommie and I went for our usual 8 pm walk. We went down the street and met Paula, a lady who lives a few streets away and she was walking her furry family, Babe and Frankie, 2 very pretty girl Llasa Apsos. Mommie and Paula stopped to chat and I rubbed noses with the girls (and got a nice treat from Paula). We were passing the time quite nicely when I looked up the street and there was Fang. He's a German Shepherd who lives in my neighbourhood. Fang and I get along really well when we're up close, but, when I see him coming from a distance, I've gotta bark at him. I can't help myself. I bark and bark and bark. Fang was with both his parents last night. Usually, he's with his daddy only, but last night his mommie had his leash. Well, I had him so aggitated, his mommie had to hand him over to his daddy. His daddy brought him over to say "hi" to me and I took a run at him and he ran away ! Big wimp ! Meanwhile, Babe and Frankie left with their mommie and every other dog in the nightbourhood started to bark because of my barking. There was Morgan and Peanut and Drew and Jessie and Boyd, who all live around where I met Fang...and they were all barking. It was lovely ! I think my mommie was kind of embarrassed.

It's been a funny old winter. Right now, it's just like Spring. Last night, my mommie took me out for my usual 8 PM walk and, because there's no snow on the grass, I could smell my buddy Fang (He's a German Shepherd). I knew he'd been there. I couldn't find him, but I tried. I pulled my mommie all over the neighbourhood and we had the longest walk ! It was fun. Then we went to Candy's (my girlfriend) house and her mommie brought her outside and gave us both some cookies. Candy's daddy usually brings her outside when I arrive, but he's away on business and her mommie gives me extra treats and extra scratches. I really like Candy's daddy, but I like it when he's away, too.

Even though it's Winter in Canada, mommie and I got to go to the beach for a walk yesterday afternoon. We had lots of fun. It was chilly, but I had my blue turtleneck sweater on and I didn't go into the water ! I LOVE feathers and I was trying to find some all over the sand, but there weren't any. The birds must be keeping them all glued on tight for the Winter ! I checked out quite a lot of seaweed, 'cause sometimes feathers hide in seaweed, but there weren't any. It snowed last night, so I might not be getting to the beach again until Spring, so I'm glad we had the chance to take this walk.
