I grew up with pugs. My parents have 6! And I couldn't wait until I could have a pug to hug of my very own. I found an ad for her in the paper and fell in love with her the second I saw her. She's my sweetie pew.

On May 20, I turned 1 year old!! My mommy gave me a birthday party and invited all my friends - dogs and people!!! She made special homemade doggie cookies - yum yum and everyone brought me a birthday present. It was so much fun, but I sure was tired at the end of the day!

Not long ago my mommy took me for a ride in the car and I was so excited, I just love to ride in the car!!! But my mommy was not herself. She had tears in her eyes and kept telling me to be brave and she would see me in a few hours. I was a little confused but when we stopped, there were dogs and cats to play with!!! I love meeting new friends!!! My mommy left and before I knew it, I had woken up from my nap and boy was I sore and scared!!! My mommy was nowhere to be found!!! She came to pick me up as promised, but I was so mad at her, I hid behind the couch all night long. I feel much better now and my mommy says I will be much happier.

Today is my cousins 6th birthday and what a blast! My cousins are pugs too, their names are Zeus, Bubbles, Zoe and Ali. My Grandma made homemade dog cookies and dog cupcakes - yummy!!!! I tried to eat everyone else's because they were so good! And Grandma bought us balloons too! I can't wait until my first birthday party!! Mama said she will invite every doggie she knows and we'll have lots of treats and everyone will pay attention to me! She said something about a party dress, but I didn't pay attention to her, I hate clothes.
