Arrival Story:
We had given up on ever getting a dog because my parents are allergic. Searched hypo-allergenic dogs online and found the American Hairless Terriers. We found a breeder not too far from us, but knew we could not afford these dogs. We wrote the breeder about this one dog on the website named Kewpie, and to our surprise, they offered to give her to us for free! They wanted to find her a good home quickly. So we made arrangements to pick her up, and a few days before we were supposed to go, she emailed us with another dog that had not been on her website, and it was our Rosie. She was still a puppy, but she offered her to us for $250 because she wanted them to go to the same home so they weren't lonely. And as soon as we saw Rosie's picture, it was love at first sight.
