Arrival Story:
My dearest Pica jumped out of the fence while we were away and was struck by our neighbors truck. Then we moved to New Jersey, once we got settled in, we wanted another blue weim. Granted you can never replace a lost dog, but you can add another one to your life. After searching on the web, I soon discovered there was not a blue weim to be found in the NY/NJ area, so I found a breeder in Iowa. He actually sold his litter, but due to a little scar on her belly, (she had a little hernia where her momma licked her too much) the original owner decided not to buy her. So when she was old enough the breeders packed her up in a crate bound for Newark. It was puppy love! Since then we have moved, and she continues to be a happy doggo. My boyfriend takes her running/exploring in the state park every morning and evening. She gets plenty of excercise, so she sleeps all day until we return from work and its time to go outside to play again. Or point at the various wildlife. Or find something very smelly to roll in. Wow, what a life.
