I have been diagnosed with hip dysplasia.
My sister was so saddened by the news. She has always been so proud of the way I stood, she has always said I looked so impressive! But now, I limp when we take walks and I have a hard time trying to sit and when I'm standing up. Sometimes I even whine when I want to stand up, but I just can't carry myself.
I am under medication and my vet has prescribed some pain killers for me.
My sister is researching about it now and she's hoping that I won't get worse... and hoping against hope that I get better.

If you're going to get in trouble for a day... make the most out of it!
So, I made the most out of mine. Last Saturday, I started the day normally...
I made a huge noise as soon as I heard one of them was up so that they would let me out of my kennel, pooped and peed outside (but made sure I left some so that I could still poop inside the house!) and I was brought inside.
The first agenda for the day was to figure out what was better to chew... My sister's shoes or her cellphone.
The shoes being more accessible, I got to taste it first. Not bad, I especially loved the heel, it was a bit hard but a lot better than the leather itself. I'd say it was a 7 out of 10. Of course, it would've been tastier if I had eatern it right after she removed it from her feet, but I'm not complaining!
So, after taste testing the shoes, I went up to my sister's room to taste the phone.
It was infinitely better than the shoes!
1. It was new. She's had it only a couple of months.
2. I was able to lounge on her bed while munching on that tasty and crispy phone.
3. It was tasty and crispy.
She said I was in trouble when she saw her shoes and phone... Of course mommy screamed when she saw the shoes... No wonder my sister hid the phone. Bol!
Until next time!

My sister has been campaigning my "release" for a couple of months now. Let me tell you the whole story:
Well, when I turned 6 months or so, my brothers, a sister and mom saw that I've been shedding a lot and I've been very unruly. They have decided (against my sister's wishes) to lock me in my cage so that there won't be too much fur flying around, so that I won't be messing things up, blah, blah and the excuses goes on and on.
My sister was strongly against it saying that keeping me locked up is not good. If they want lesser fur, brush me up every morning, noon and night. If they want me to behave, train me, and not cage me. And she kept on arguing but they all ignored her.
So, for several months, I've been banished in the cage, being walked every morning, noon and night, but still almost always in the cage. My sister didn't like it so she always thought of ways to get me inside the house again.
Several weeks back, she walked me... and instead of locking me up in the cage, she thought of letting me run inside the house.
I was a good boy! I just sat there, befriended the other doggies, played around a bit but most often than not, I was just lying down on the floor. It was then that she showed my mom and other siblings how a good boy I could be.
After that, they would only put me in the cage at night (so that I won't be able to make a mess while they're sleeping) and they would open the cage every morning to let me out and play inside the house with all the other doggies!
I say, way to go sister!
